Return / Refund Policy

Wide Grid Software and Technologies (SMC-Private Limited) provides custom software design and development services. Because every engagement is bespoke and tailored to the client, refunds are governed by the following policy.

1. Customised Services

Our services (website design, application development, custom software, enterprise solutions and Shopify stores) are custom-built for each client. Once work has commenced, resources, time and intellectual effort cannot be recovered.

2. Refund Eligibility

  • Before project commencement: Full refund minus any consultation, discovery or design fees already incurred.
  • After project commencement but before delivery of the first milestone: Partial refund proportional to the work completed.
  • After a milestone is approved by the client: No refund is available for that milestone.

3. Milestone-Based Payments

Projects are invoiced in milestones. Each milestone requires client review and approval before the next begins. Once a milestone is signed off, it is considered final and non-refundable.

4. Support Process

All packages include a defined post-launch support window. If defects covered by the project scope are discovered within this window, we fix them at no additional cost.

5. Dispute Handling

Any dispute regarding refunds must be raised in writing to support@widegridsoftwares.com within seven (7) days of the event giving rise to the dispute. We commit to responding within five (5) business days and working towards an amicable resolution.

6. Non-Refundable Items

  • Third-party licenses, hosting fees, domains and paid plugins
  • Discovery, research and design workshops already delivered
  • Rush-delivery premiums

7. Refund Method

Approved refunds are issued via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.
